BRYAN, TX — It’s at Brauhaus German Restaurant in Downtown Bryan. According to The Eagle newspaper, Matt Nettel, who has worked as a manager of Ludwig Kapser’s restaurants in Germany, will initially help manage the Bryan restaurant and pub next door.
If you get your liederhosen fast, you could eat at Brauhaus and then step out for First Friday . Head over to the Frame Gallery for great jazz and art exhibits. Many other Bryan stores are open late for business and conversation. Several venues host gigs for different bands. Check out this link for the Skinny Skoop on shopping and music.
Such a unique collection of visual and audio arts for Central Texas. Mark your calendar - I’ll see you Downtown!

So does everyone wear the cute clothes at the restaurant? Wonder if they sell the little green hats with feathers…..
Seems that at this point, the German restaurant is a wll hidden secret. No listing online for it and can’t seem to find much out except what Cindy Seaton has to say—above.
After some searching, we found an address and phone number for the Brauhaus German Restaurant. Made reservatins and ate there Thursday evening. Lots of room so reservation was really not needed. Food was great, chef was very pleasant and the atmosphere was great also. Nice Irish bar connected to the restaurant thru a doorway. Try it, you will like it. 5 stars is my rating—*****
Their location is–109 N. MAIN ST., Bryan, TX and they open at 5 p.m.
